Engine Running - 09/30/2005
Steve managed to fire up the motor this week as well!
On the test stand all wired up.
According to Steve, the engine has 60-65PSI of oil pressure at higher RPM and 45 at idle. The motor never got over 180°F the entire time either. Nice stuff. The lifters ticked a bit on startup, but they always have, so no surprises there. Hopefully it will be time to put the engine in the car soon. I grabbed new plug wires, cap, rotor, and transmission mount from the parts store today.
