What Have We Here... - 08/18/2018

This car popped up on a trolling search I do for vintage Pontiacs. I need seat belts and stuff for the Lemans and no one wants to sell me some. Lame. Buying new is almost $700. Lamer. This car has seat belts...

Obviously it's seen better days but it doesn't look too awful now.

Well that hood is definitely no good. 0/3 on hoods with these cars...

So I talked to the guy and arrive at a reasonable price and delivery fee.

Backing it up my hill...



I'm impressed his Tahoe did this without breaking a sweat.



Off the trailer. And it's raining because of course it is.



It was a nerve-wracking moment to get this car off the trailer without it going back down the hill. Cylinder heads were used as wheel chocks.



Car roller skates get it in the garage (along with help from my neighbor).



It's a nice fit.



It looks a lot larger from this angle...

Well... we shall see what progresses on this one. I know a lot of guys want '71 specific parts and this car has a bunch of them in great shape.
