The Arrival - 08/07/2014
Things move slowly when you're buying remotely. I paid the guy a check, he sent the title right away before the check cleared (!!!), and Steve would pick it up once the check cleared. I hopped down to the county clerk and registered the truck ($24 for plates, $12 for title transfer, $150 for sales tax) and had plates the same day. So I legally owned it before the check had cleared and before we had possession. Guy is a trusting soul. Steve eventually picked it up, these things take time. Now he had to check it out and verify the shape it's in!
It's here! And so much for "bike rack doesn't go with it"
And MINE! Steve can drive it plated and insured around without worry.
Heavy duty front bumper welded on, no real rust up here.
Transmission pan has no fluid leaking.
Not sure if these headers are factory or C.A.R.B. legal, but cool!
Bilstein shocks run serious coin.
Rear end differential not leaking. 4.10 positraction rear end!
Heavy duty bumper mounts.
V-5 rated bumper, pretty nice.
Dynomax 17789 - the ultimate performance muffler that sounds the quietest of all the mufflers you can buy. Guy knew what he was doing here.
So not bad! Needs some love: AC clutch is making funny noises, radiator fan is on its last legs, and some of the lights don't work. Steve is off and running to get these things fixed.
