OMG EETZA NU FREEJ! - 09/18/2004

Since I won a refrigerator on The Price Is Right, it needed to be delivered. We had given up hope of ever seeing it when Alliteration Electronics called one day out of the blue with our new fridge that they wanted to deliver. Rock on.


Bright and shiny at 8:50AM on a Saturday morning a truck arrives...


Our old fridge goes out to the garage to "store stuff."


Somebody has to stay in her house because she likes people too much.


Lisa is in awe of the new fridge so much she can't take her eyes off of it...


The new fridge is setup and ready to go.

This is a nice fridge. The guys who delivered it were in and out in 15 minutes. Talk about getting the job done right! They carried it in with just two straps underneath strapped across their backs. I know I couldn't have done that if I wanted to...

On a side note, the claims company has determined that nails missing and loose pieces of furniture definitely warrant claims payments and are obviously damaged but an engine that FELL TWO FEET ONTO THE GROUND AND SMASHED THE OIL PAN AND CAUSED THE BALANCER TO GO LOOSE OBVIOUSLY ISN'T externally damaged. NO SHIT SHERLOCK! Engines don't get obviously damaged externally when they fall, it's the frickin' insides that go to hell you frickin' morons! So according to them I could just dump it in my car and it would run just as it had the day we left for California. I DON'T THINK SO YOU FRICKING JACKASSES! Do I have to spell it out? Maybe they need it given in simpler terms. Engine fall no bueno. Engine fall != good. Engine fall == very bad thing. Engine fall := made whole via replacement engine or payment for such an item. Mommy! Engine fall down go boom! It's NOT a good thing people! Morons. Going to be a nasty phone call for someone Monday morning...
